I grew up knowing all about Snake Plissken (Kurt Russell) and John Carpenter.
This movie was a cable TV go to.
Years later I'd watch it on the big screen at midnight or with some double feature more than once.
The far future that Snake faces was entertaining and filled with a slew of quirky characters.
I dug this as a kid and dig it now. I'm entertained from beginning to end. Snake takes care of Snake and survives.
Everyone needs a little music to keep on going.
Oh I really did like this one when I saw it the first time in theaters.
I was entertained then and was again this time around.
We put it on for a background movie but it got most of our attention. And how could it not?
John Carter, from Virginia gets transported to Mars a.k.a. Barsoom and joins those on the planet in their fight.
It's just a fun movie, capturing adventures and imagination. I just need that most of all right now so John Carter entertained me once again.
