It started off with Animal Collective (my favorite band) playing in the very first scene, and then it played two more times later. That already won me over. That said, this movie was nothing like what I expected. But honestly, I don’t even know what I was expecting. All I know is that I truly felt ~waves~ of so many things and ended up in tears. (If I were a director, I’d also find a way to sneak in the weird bands I like into my movies.)
