  Harakiri perfectly critiques the pursuit of power and the lengths people would go to uphold a facade of honor by offering a timeless reflection on the destructive concept of rigid systems. I don't think a single moment feels wasted. I can imagine Kurosawa watching Harakiri and taking notes lol.

  Possession is honestly an underrated gem and a film i will always love and go to bat for.Everything about this film feels hysterical and otherworldly. Sam Neil and Isabelle Adjani performance goes beyond anything I've ever seen and that subway scene is just powerful where Adjani pushes herself to the extreme physically and emotionally, diving into dark places when it’s most demanding.
