wow. this movie was not at all what i was expecting. normally this sub genre of horror isnt my favorite and i find it corny typically. but this movie did a great job building suspense and making it believable. the setting was creepy for the last 2 acts. my gosh the final act. all sorts of wtf but it’s gonna stick with me for a while.
ive always heard this was a good movie and it didn’t disappoint.

The scenery was beautiful. The movie was just sad. It starts off with a mystery and it ends without an explanation leading me to wonder what the point of it all was.
Movies like this make me feel dumb. I’m searching for the reason or message and I’m unable to find it. I guess it’s up to the individual person what they take from this film.

When I first joined cinema club I hoped I would get assigned a movie that would make me feel as good as this one. It has it all. It starts by showing us how we are all hamsters in the wheel longing for escape. Then it quickly transforms into the best fantasy movie I’ve ever seen. And I thought I wasn’t a fan of the genre.
