Made for me!! Never thought I’d say “Oh no it’s a gelatinous cube!!” while watching a movie with my kids. All the adventure stuff was so good. I was kind of worried about Chris Pratt’s character but he was perfect. Also thought the Weekend at Bernies bit was going to be annoying but it was very minor. The character and emotional growth was maybe the most well done out of any Pixar movie yet. Really loved this.

Astoundingly bad. How the pitch for this was not immediately laughed out of the writers room is beyond me. I can’t put together a coherent review for this so I’ll just list everything in one big brain dump.
- Why set the movie in 1984, and then name it after the setting, only to use 0% of that? Not even an 80s song in the soundtrack? No synths? Nothing? Why even bother.
