Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
More than any other beloved movie in the last few years, this is one that I don’t really get. Gave it a rewatch to see if my mind has changed, and though I did like it more than I did the first time, this movie just isn’t for me.

I liked this one more than expected. Had much of what interests me in a historical biopic: a great performance plus I learned some things that I either didn’t know or had forgotten. I was kind of dreading the run time but felt it was actually necessary for how much was covered and I never got bored.

Rounders 1998
Downgrading from a 5* to 4.5* after this watch. It continues to be one of my top 5 favorite movies, but I’ve got to reserve my 5* ratings for movies with No Notes. As much as I love this movie, it really could be better if they rewrote every scene with Gretchen Mol. Perhaps this view is too influenced by The Rewatchables but it does feel like a major blemish on an otherwise perfect movie.
