This movie is controversial for people that look too much into it. Yes, sexualizing a woman with the mind of a baby is... something. But it's the journey she faces through that odd aspect that makes it a compelling film to watch. Emma stones acting deserves praise, not only for the transformation of the character but the humor and empathy she brings in unexpected ways. Plus, the visuals and editing is just too beautiful to not enjoy.
