  This was completely beautiful. So sensitive and tender and immersive. Everything was handled with the lightest touch but by no means was it under-done. Perfectly cooked, perhaps. I love film.

  (Saw this during MIFF also. The ACMI cinema goes hard. The audience once again applauded! It's remarkable to me that this isn't considered high cringe by the pretentious Narrm/ Melb crowds. Apparently earnestly appreciating film is in?)

  My god there is so much to love about this film!!! 

  The first act was perfect. Big Suspiria (1977, Argento) vibes for me. So creepy and sinister but you just don’t know why yet. SO GOOD. 

  Stylistically just really *chef’s kiss*. 

  I wish all films watched like this. Thanks Scorsese.

  I love being a cynic and a simp for epic Hollywood cinema. lol

  Caught the re-release of Dune(1) on the big screen last night and I'm so pleased I did!! Consider me thirsty for numero deux. In fact I literally welled up when Denis personally offered us a sneak peak at Paul's first ~worm ride~ as a reward for sitting through the entirety of the credits. DON'T LOOK AT ME.
