  I didn’t really enjoy this film all that much. This film is really just the same thing on repeat, a creepy professor goes to work comes home spies on the young woman next door and the it repeats again. 

  The music is kind of annoying, some of it is okay I guess but most of it really distracts you from the film.

  I am very surprised by this film, going into this film I really didn’t expect much. For a boxing film made in the 1940’s I didn’t think it would be as good as it was, the cinematography was the most surprising
  element of this film as there was many great shots.

  Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall both deliver two incredible performances. 

  Jack Nicholson is so creepy in this film and the way he gets progressively more and more crazy as the film continues is so well done. Also the occasional look into the camera is so menacing. 

  Shelley Duvall was incredible in this film. The scene in the bathroom and the final scene where she is running through the house is so good.
