Loved the oscillation between these blissed-out trances of euphoria when Jane was away from the watchful eye of polite society, and the intense alienation anytime she had to interact with anybody else. Having watched Bringing Up Baby the day before watching this I was hyper-aware of the similarities between Suzy and Jane. There's a distinct childishness to the character, but instead of it just being an innate part of her being it is justified by her being too high to function.

Blade Runner 2049 2017
Rewatched as a part of a Dystopian Science Fiction class. Fun coincidence that we watched it on blade runner day. Still love the movie as much as my first viewing. It was a great class. Not gonna miss the girl who when we watched the white bear episode of black mirror thought that the torture was actually ethical and utilitarian.
