  I don’t know what was more surprising. The Ming boggling plot or the Billy Ray Cyrus cameo. 

  I need a moment to digest my thoughts here before I can even rate this movie. I’m at a loss for words. Are all Lynch movies like this? This is my first and I mean, what a style. I may not know what to say but I know for a fact I was hooked from the beginning.

  As a musical enjoyer, this fit right in with me. Every musical number was great, but “We both reached for the gun” is peak musical cinema. I know it’s the point of all musicals, but the story progression through music was done so freaking well. If you are missing a song, you are missing a key element of the story. Exactly as it should be

  I know people don’t like it, and I get it. It’s far from perfect and there are plenty of holes. But I’ll always love this movie. The new Superman trailer reminded me of how much I liked this one.   Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome 1985

  Not mad, just disappointed 😔 I had the lowest expectations for this one based on reviews, and those expectations were just about met. Really the only redeeming qualities for me were the initial thunderdome sequence (until the unmasking 😭😭) and the final action sequence. I’ve arrived where I wanted to be tho, next up : Fury Road
