The Prince of Egypt 1998
I remember watching it in pieces as a kid. It’s so much cooler watching it with the grand narrative of scripture in mind. It’s hard to watch as Pharaoh repeatedly hardens his heart and forgets his love for Moses. What a cool illustration of God’s provision and love for his people.

Tombstone is a masterful movie experience; from gallivanting gunfights to classic one liners. At times you don’t know whether to laugh or to cry; to cringe or to shout in victory. The viewer is made to experience the heaviness of taking a life, and to watch as one of the more levelheaded westerners takes a frightening turn because of deep loss. Val Kilmer, Sam Elliot, and Kurt Russel are outstanding. Kilmer really hit his mark in this one. (Pun intended)…

What a beautiful movie about what has been, what is, and what could be. I’m not sure I have ever seen such a vivid movie with so much dialogue keep my attention like this one did. The score is beautiful, the writing is perceptive and poignant, and it is just artistic enough to produce emotion without coming across uppity! BRAVO!
