  Incredible, packed with a bit of everything, romance, action, a hint of sci-fi/fantasy to this cyberpunk-esq world filled with crazy individuals. The way Doyle places the camera as if it's a character shying away into the shadows or leaning out of a balcony is genius.

  Every single shot was so well crafted, I need another rewatch just to take in more of the lighting. Probably could be a rare 5 stars for me but I was more captivated by the lightning storm out the window at times.

  A great entry for the tolkson universe, with a score that perfectly blends the familiar with new. The characters and plot were gripping without getting too lost in middle earth lore. I just wish the polish of the animation was higher. Some moments felt rushed or even unfinished with the worst being distorted face mush that didn't match the dialogue. It distracted the otherwise stunning backdrops which at times made me forget it was anime.
