A nearly perfect film. It’s a wildly understated, authentic, gorgeous gem of an independent film. The performances by the three leads (who are all actually related) sets the perfect tone for the entire film. I came into this film, my third of the day, not expecting much. What I found is a film with perfect casting, directing, cinematography… just. Exactly what it needed to be. Wildly authentic. I adored this movie and it made me laugh and bawl and feel. An absolutely stunning achievement for these artists.
