  Years ago, I thought this was a really scary movie and more of a fantasy than it actually was. Honestly, the story was really rich, and I liked how it was woven into the conflict of the Spanish Civil War. I enjoyed it a lot, and thank you to the subreddit r/moviecritic for reminding me to watch it!
