  This is not a typical zombie movie.
  Maggie shows a world that functions normally after a zombie outbreak. Bites/infections are treated like a terminal illness, as it takes weeks for the virus to take hold of a host. Maggie facing her mortality and seeing her body decay further every day is absolutely heartbreaking. A very unique movie IMO.
