  I remember loving this special so much as a kid but holy HELL, it takes more than HALF the movie for them to actually get to the creepy haunted mansion?? I could’ve sworn it was like most of the movie but the lead up to that point is insanely long?? Great double feature with Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein though

  Yelling incoherently at the tv when the family poses for a selfie and the screen snaps like they’re taking a picture but THEN it doesn’t cut to the picture they took with the phone, oh no, it snaps a picture of the scene we were just looking at of the family posing for the photo as if there’s someone outside the edge of the vision of the screen taking a picture of the family taking a selfie

  Some of the coolest cinematography combined with some of the silliest moments I’ve ever seen in a horror movie

  Also is there an award for best spooky trees? There should be and Longlegs should win it, they found some incredible trees for this film
