Wacky horror comedy from the man who made Tetsuo. The two leads are constantly screaming, running, and clumsily avoiding death from a school-girl-faced spider yokai who sings a hypnotic lullaby that seduces people into cutting their own heads off. Slows to a crawl for a bit in the third act but overall a fucking blast.

Conquest 1983
Ultra Dreamy low budget fantasy that manages to retain Fulci’s knack for gross out body horror within a hazy primitive, mystical adventure realm. A skinny guy with a magical bow and his buff barbarian friend (who uses nunchucks and loves animals) take on a horde of caveman Chewbaccas led by a masked woman who is horny for snakes. This all sounds dumb as hell, but somehow the film manages to pull it all off in a fever dream sort of way. I love this movie.
