American Psycho 2000
Christian Bale was great, and I think I will like this more with a rewatch but it felt like there were no stakes. An unreliable narrator can make for a great story but Patrick Bateman was so unreliable that all of this might have just been in his head. Everything could have happened or none of it. Watching him lose grasp of reality was cool though. Also shocked people like memes from this so much.

Never did I expect this to actually be good but it was. They actually talked about Chad Hugo despite the current legal dispute. I do wish Malice had made an appearance because framing Grindin as just a Pusha song felt weird but that was almost certainly his choice and not the directors. Also wish they had touched on Child Rebel Soldier because that was right around his peak commercially but it was left out. Overall very good and creative.
