Fascinating set of interviews with incredible directors.

Finally finished this one from Michael Mann and thought it was great! Somehow made this story about the role of journalism so compelling and also made me a bit sad that the days of respect for quality journalism have ended, killed by the dumbest people alive.

This movie is absolutely incredible. I defy you to watch it and not lose your mind. The cast is absolutely stacked with top talent playing bit gangster parts. This movie is just wild. I saw it when it came out, but watching it now I’m just blown away that this exists…really. Stars Al Pacino, Dick Van Dyke, Warren Beatty, Madonna, William Forsythe, and Dustin Hoffman (fresh off Rain Main!!!), among others…

In the vein of Batman, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Hook, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, all from the same couple years…
