  Literally a tale of 3 women but they’re connected by the subconscious, expressing their desires for men and intimacy, feeling each other’s unspoken traumas in nightmarish sequences, add recurring feminine and masculine motifs, mixed in with a touch of good humor. Men are depicted as absent doofuses and it’s these 3 women who must come take care of each other to get by and feel truly loved in the end. This movie defies definition, it must be seen and felt. The dream sequence in the back half nearly killed me, this is a stunning movie like no other.
