  This will sound obvious, but it just felt real. I appreciate how much of the movie was about supporting each other and persevering despite a system constantly working against you. Even though the first act could have set up any number of common tropes, it just played it straight and it worked.

  I get that this film is important, but that didn't stop it from being boring. I feel like this is the kind of film where you're better off reading a really long think piece and watching 10 minutes of the movie.

  It was like if Crank took itself seriously and was also not funny or entertaining. I would have preferred watching cars pull in and out of a Starbucks drive-thru for 130 minutes.
