Complex. Absurd. Tragic.
Charlie Kaufman is a fckn genius! Great screenplay + directing. He always manages to make us laugh through the saddest plots of all time.
Plus the acting is exceptional....Philip Seymour Hoffman at his career best!
Although, you may find the story hard-to-follow at times (I paused atleast 20 times) because of the lack of proper narration...but never felt disconnected.

Elegant. Intense. Sophisticated.
Great screenplay with minimal dialogues...Great sound mix...you can hear small details like footsteps for example throughout the runtime.
Jean-Pierre Melville was a true master.... Flawless directing. Henri's cinematography stands out as well.
Wow
"Bible is just a book. Its a good book. But its not the only book."
Spencer Tracey is one of my fav actors ever...but in this one Fredric March was better. Exceptional acting & dialogue delivery!
