Going in I did not think I would like this movie as much as I did. But it is very wholesome. Held up really well, what I really like about this movie is it showing untraditional family dynamics. I liked how this showed untraditional and wholesome familiar units that worked! Because you know what, I want to be an adult and live with my friends. And the movie ended that way, not like how the end of Friends where it ended with traditional familiar roles.

They try to make Tom Hanks the main character but I don’t care. The girls are the star let them star. Madonna and Rosie O’Donnell characters friendship could be a 12 hour movie and I’d watch every second
Good movie. As a kid I’d give it 5 stars, but rewatching some parts don’t age well, classic 90s misogyny. But I love a movie about women being complex characters with goals outside of the societal norm

Full disclosure, I did fall asleep, and when I awoke it seemed like a different movie. BEAUTIFUL animation, and I think if I watched it as a kid I would be obsessed with the singing lady. But I feel like the story of the online world is just a bit overdone. So I struggled to have the stakes catch my attention.
