The Brutalist 2024
First 10 min, their relationship, and adrien Brody’a acting were the best parts. I’d probably get more out of it if I understood brutalism (is it a philosophy more than architecture style? They gave a little context towards end)
Would have loved more cool buildings / rooms designed by him. Obviously doesn’t represent all immigrants, but an interesting story to watch right now. America mid-century Protestant work-hard-hate-yourself mindset isn’t one to emulate.

Watched at outdoor community movie night in Bellingham. Still so entertaining and new parts made me laff and I think perhaps made to be shared on summer nights for years to come??
