It was stiff, it was linear, it was LA Corny. But I liked it. As soon as I wrapped my head around the comedy of these actors performing short comedic stunts I was hooked. Loved seeing a young Stallone, the cream scene was great.
I wish we spent more time building up the racers rivalries and less on the in person resistance stuff. The navigator being apart of the resistance and the tv broadcast was all that was needed.
I’d watch this again with pals for a shared laugh.
Good imagery, and such a terrifying idea. I could watch an entire film of just two guys in hazmats suits exploring a decimated community. The rest of the movie in the lab was alright, I just don’t think the time was used properly, resulting in a dull ending. A lot of time spent watching animals die that could have been used on the scientists or on the thing spreading from that town. Hard to find the right word for what…
Visually appealing for about 5 minutes before the poor pacing transforms this glimpse into the alien world into reference dependent sci fi slop.
