  i have been looking for this movie since i was 8 or 9 years old. all i remembered was the scene where he eats the fake worms, and it stuck in my head because those gummy worms looked so good. tried to find the name of this movie but i couldn't find it by just describing the little i could recall. randomly decided to throw on the first 90s movie i saw and i slowly began to realise it was what I've been searching for. i can finally rest.

  i find myself coming back to this film, year after year. it is not even close to perfect, but that doesn't matter. i love how well it portrays the feelings of sadness and loneliness that come with loss. the song 'our tiny mouths' has been a part of my everyday life since i first watched this, and remains exquisite to this day.
