Because routine is not mundane, monotonous, or ordinary. Having discipline and commitment is extraordinary, and I see it in how Hirayama wakes up at the same time his neighbor sweeps outside, takes care of his plants, and shows up for his work every day. Our habits speak a lot about us. For Hirayama, peace trumps anything. As we peered into his past, this became more understandable. It's an experience like no other to watch how impressive the level of execution Oppenheimer has. It's complex, terrifying, moving, and stunning. Especially stunned by how Nolan managed to deliver this masterpiece of a film again, although that is what I was hoping for and expecting from him. The scale and quality of the sound and visuals made me wish our country also had the option to see this on 70mm IMAX. I could only imagine how much more immersive it would be. And such remarkable performances also from the cast. What an unbelievable ensemble. Definitely at the top of my favorites from Nolan.

And that they are always…

"Sometimes the thought is closer to the truth, to reality, than an action. You can say anything, you can do anything, but you can't fake a thought."

Agreed, and now I'm thinking, why does Kaufman have to be this good?

This film is a surrealistic experience, which is how Kaufman likes it, which is something I truly enjoy and something that I've been missing to see. From the heavy dialogues, the perfect cinematography, and the impressive performances of the cast,…
