  Every time I watch this, even though I know it's coming, the last 10 minutes always catches me off guard and impresses me. I believe this is one of a very few examples, of stand-up comedy being used to transcend comedy itself.

  What an absolutely relentless, nonsensical disaster of a film. Up until this point I've enjoyed nearly every musical I've seen, but this was like the distilled essence of everything I could ever hate about them. Every song sounds the same, the message is shallow and thoughtless, and the characters are impossibly obnoxious. This wasn't just a terrible audio-visual experience either, as I began to feel serious physical pain after a straight hour of back to back songs, each one worse…

  Even better than I remembered it, and I loved it the first time. The dry humour, cold grey aesthetic, performances, and most surprisingly, the music, really got to me. I've always disliked folk music, but this soundtrack is now one of my favourites, and I think that says a lot about how much I love this film.
