This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I probably sat on my thoughts for this one too long! Anyway, I really did love the cinematography at times, but I found it too slow and barebones to enjoy. It seems to want to talk about postmodernity and humanity's blind groping at truth through religion, social mores, and even science — but it's so sporadic (and unmoored) that it doesn't land for me.

I really did want to like this...! The opening sequence was very strong, and with a lot of potential for depth, but it simply does not deliver. It drags on, lacks structure, and never really justifies its runtime. The epilogue is very out of left field and only serves to emphasize how many threads are left unresolved.
