Rewatching this it kind of reminded me of what I thought of Get Out on rewatch, how as a director early in their career their skills and eye may not be as honed as in their later films, but it still has their style and you can see the compelling concepts that they will latch on to and carry through the rest of their filmography.

The acting was incredibly mediocre for who was in it and the worst part was this was literally the same story line as the first.
The same story.Where knives out delivered an interesting and uncommon murder mystery with tight writing and appropriate acting, glass onion is Rian Johnson beating off his own “genre” for $40 million and for 45 minutes too long.
