Ya A24 basically rules and shit.

The idea of a family curse is a fascinating motif that I have seen in a couple of different pieces of media throughout the years to describe what is less of a literal curse and more of a creative depiction of family trauma being passed down generation to generation and the consequences this has on individuals.

Just realized I’ve never wrote a review on one of my favorite movies of all time, so I prob should. Se7en has such a fucking insane atmosphere. Talk about expertly setting a gritty/dark aesthetic to align with the whole plot; it hooked me in and made me feel like I was really in the movie itself.

The cast is S tier with incredible performances from Brad Pitt and Freeman and who knew Kevin Spacey could feel that creepy and that…
