This was a really interesting watch. I wasn't fully invested for most of this movie which is why it got the rating it did. But the ending completely pulled me in, I got chills multiple times. The last 20-30 minutes makes the film completely worth the watch. I can see why Hat Guy cried multiple times at the end. This was very close to a five star but just not quite there. To be honest I can’t put my finger on it but it was just missing something. This was an extremely entertaining watch. Obviously Mikey Madison gives a great performance. Everyone in this movie gives a really good performance. Except for Ivan specifically while playing video games. Nobody plays like that. Besides that the film is phenomenal. I understand why it did so well at the Oscars.
