Arrival 2016
This movie is one of my favourites. The most human approach to an alien movie I’ve seen. Amy Adams is the perfect fit for a lead role in this and Hawkeye is pretty good too. Some things can’t be solved with conflict but rather hindsight, foresight and an understanding that things will be as they are.

The whole time I was really trying to appreciate the effort they did put into this movie. I feel like a lot of the budget went towards hiring famous people. Brad Pitt (and other celebs) had no business in this movie. This, plus they spent way too much on the CGI in the final act.
