This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Sam is better than Anton in every way lol.
That being said, the ending felt abrupt. And I assumed that Izzy would either decide she doesn't want Sam *or* Anton, or they would delve further into what made her develop strong feelings for Sam (even before Anton wanted something from her).
I did appreciate how authentically New York this movie is, though!

Ugh. Cailee Spaeny and David Jonsson were the best part of this for me. I don't think Romulus lets you get to know anyone else beyond 'stock' really.
The visuals and score/sound design were phenomenal, kudos to that team!
That being said, I wish this movie wasn't so committed to being nostalgic and catering to the youth. I wish they'd played around with a more varied cast in terms of ages/dynamic.
For now, Alien is better.
