Although leaps and bounds ahead of Suicide Squad, in my opinion Birds of Prey didn't quite live up to it's potential. There was some engaging fight/dance choreography, set and costume design was fun, and the characters were for the most part novel and unique, but I felt the movie spent too much time setting everyone up so that by the time we had an established squad of heroes the movie was practically over.
