The Phantom of the Opera 2004
It’s just my favourite musical. Music and scenery 10/10. Costume design 10/10. Acting 10/10. The story… it’s beautiful. At the end, the Phantom finally shows his true love for Christine by letting her go. He knew that with him, she could not be happy, so she let her be with a “better man”. Really a tragic story of the Phantom. I pity him. The ending was sad, yet, perfect.
