I went into this with not a lot of knowledge of the plot and I came out pleasantly surprised at how much fun this was. Sophie Thatcher has shown up in many of my recent favourites and I’m glad to see her performance continue to impress. The film has the capacity for more comedy than I expected but carries its message effectively right until the stylish credits. Would recommend to anyone, very accessible and a very pleasant watch all in all.

Nosferatu 2024
This movie did everything I wanted it to. Eggars for me continues to cement himself as a great filmmaker. This story is a poetic, dark fairytale with its source material brought to the surface it the most respectful and authentic way. Eggars clear respect for the original Murnau film is fully present and the work from Lily-Rose Depp, Bill Skarsgard, Nicholson’s Holt, and Willem Dafoe is masterful. The cinematography is unquestionably gorgeous (especially the crossroads shot) and the use of shadows and lighting is a chefs kiss.
