Dune: Part Two 2024
okay yes this makes sense. a lot of the payoff of part one is here. i’m sure there’s more to come though. but importantly, the spectacle and world building is fantastic. and of course the acting. timothée continues to impress me more and more every time i see him, and zendaya is also fantastic here (as is everyone else but their bond/scenes together really humanizes the story to me). i see a lot of power in sci-fi, but i don’t know this world well enough yet (my fault, not the films) so i can’t love it as much as i want to.
