    Insane performances, literally and figuratively. Hinging your movie on a dynamic this intriguing and dangerous is destined to be fantastic. Also it looked and felt like their world - the doll houses, the postcard colors, the deranged office design - and became so immersive on the smallest level.

    God I would do anything for the first 2/3 of this film - then, toe to toe with this decade’s best.

    Happy to say I found none of this irritating. All of the performances were great. The visuals were beautiful. Not at all as blunt or obvious as people might say, there still are more interesting subtextual explorations here for the picking under the surface. I just wish it would have picked only one.
