  I love Bong Joon-Ho and Robert Pattinson and I’ll watch whatever they come up with. Robert is having a lot of fun. Actually everyone seems to be having a lot of fun. Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette are hamming this up in the best way. Naomi Ackie is charming. There is not nearly enough Steven Yuen and he was criminally under used.   A movie that grows in my esteem as I keep thinking and dissecting it. The overall look at how transactional our encounters can be and how starved we are for human connection is what makes the film captivating. Like everyone had said, Mikey is superb. The directing, editing, and cinematography are all exceptional.  I would have may cut 20 minutes off, but I enjoyed the ride thoroughly. The ending had me gutted.

  I quite liked this found footage film . It has a lot of mythology and literary references throughout. The visuals were arresting. The characters were a bit half baked and the plot didn’t make the most sense always, but it didn’t really need to. It’s pretty rewarding.
