We initially follow a young immigrant woman trying to find the restaurant where she could get work based on a family link from back home.
But the main characters are a white waitress and her relationship with a Mexican chef.

Main character is a fearful man used to living in institutions. The plot follows his life from meeting a woman in a bar, being harrassed by her pimps and moving to America with his neighbour.
I found the film hard to watch. Lots of pointless dialogue and sudden changes of scene.
An aging male porn star returns to his home town, literally bloody and bruised. He is the type of person who constantly takes advantage of others, and starts here by persuading his reluctant abandoned wife to take him in.
He spots a very attractive 17 year old girl working at a doughnut shop and thinks she could be the next porn star sensation, with him as her manager, naturally.

A film with an unusual plot about a couple of older lesbians who have clearly fallen on hard times.
While I applaud the courage of the film, it was not very interesting. Got a bit irritated with the main character, who seemed rather a wimp.
