Wasn't very thrilled with the movie dwindling love down to physical appearance and "magic," the stalker-ish role Annie Reed's character embodied, and the "8 year old" son, Jonah Baldwin, acting way too mature for his age.

Also, why couldn't we have had a few more scenes at the end after the meeting?

Truly remade Robert Pattinson in my mind! The concept of having "multiples" and colonizing a new planet was explored in an interesting way. Some side characters lacked depth but would make random appearances that were significant to the plot, while other side characters grew in depth and almost became main characters that I didn't expect.

Wonderful character arcs that have great depth. Redeeming the Japanese WWII kamikaze war culture.

All of these episodes were jam-packed, and quite unpredictable! Loved how many of the characters grew and felt dynamic and complex (although, our main guy didn't change much...), and many moments touched on what it means to make a martial covenant.

This show had me laughing and crying and was just a worthwhile watch all around. Highly recommend if you want a heartwarming show with a bit of everything--law, medical, who-dunnit, etc.
