The Forbidden Room 2015
A very fantastic film of wonderments and a dreamlike trance state unlike any film I know of. It is liberating to see that art can be found in cinema still, that enthralls the playful and the humorous in a way that is ominous. How rare it is to see such innocent playfulness put on a pedestal.

Perfect semblance of self and inner voice. The conflict of conversing through relations and trust, and a bow to our inner turmoil as an impetus for our dissonance in interacting with others. One of my favorite uses of film as a temporal and textural medium to book end the film metaphorically, and particular dialogue experiments jn the third act.
