  ben is a fucking disgrace in every way, he is thoroughly devoid of personality, we’re talking major dud

  i didn’t find the dynamic between ben and mrs robinson compelling, his relationship with elaine is nonsensical, and it’s just weird for weird’s sake with completely pointless scenes and sequences
