  Couldn’t hold my attention. Silly, but not in a good way. It wants to be its own thing, but comes off as a Brokeback Mountain parody set in the desert with two men who have no chemistry.

  An erotic thriller lacking in thrills and impossibly tame. Either y’all are as repressed as Romy, or The Dreamers, Secretary, and Last Tango in Paris rotted my brain (it’s probably both).

  The main issue is our core trio’s complete lack of chemistry. Which kind of works if we’re to believe Romy and Jacob are stuck in this sad marriage with an uneven sex life, but falls apart with her constant worry about losing her family because it’s soooo important to her.…
