  Blade Runner 1982

  I haven't felt this conflicted after watching a movie in a while. There are so many moments that I love, yet I felt so unsatisfied with it all in the end and I can't exactly put it into the words as of why. I believe this film accomplishes as much as it can, just like its characters try to conquer their situations; however, trying to manage it all is a difficult task that can never be perfect.

  A terrific theatrical experience to celebrate the 10th anniversary for this masterpiece. Went to see it with a group a friends and it was phenomenal.

  There were so many more defining details that I never realized before tonight when watching this movie. The amount of influence the camera has when focusing in on each instrument during performance scenes to enhance the parts of songs being played, or the consistent contrast of the cool emerald blues and the sharp shining golden…

  An emotional story of a man learning to not only fix his past mistakes, but to forgive himself for them. A Silent Voice has a lot to say as it shows the human struggle to become a better person through stunning visuals and writing.

  "Is this Heaven?"
  "No... it's Iowa."

  I finally found the time to watch this. As an Iowan, I'm glad that this movie was able to capture the beauty of this land and the dream-like desires that are in each and every one of us. Definitely a charming classic!
