Local Hero is a magical film, like the film's character you will also feel like you are on a vacation, at first it takes some time to adjust to this new place, but slowly it just grows upon you. At the end of the film, I felt sad because I'm already missing this small town that I never visited in real life when people say the place itself is a character I guess that is what they meant, here the small town itself is the main character.

I like this small movie because it makes the world look a little simpler to me.

I don't believe in inspirational movies, but this is one of the few exceptions. The film has lots of goofy characters doing goofy things but the director Sono has done everything so gently that you just adore them. The film's main premise is to show us that in life no one is extra, even if others do not find you special, you are the main character of your own story, and indeed after watching the film you might feel special.

Denis Villeneuve's Dune is a great spectacular but I have to say the storytelling was rather disappointing for me. The biggest problem for me was how how underdevelopment most of the characters were, they not only needed much more screen times but their motivations are not clear enough in here. For example the film didn't invest any time on Dr Yueh's character so we don't know anything about his hatred towards Harkonnen's and not only that the film also didn't…

    ★★★

The new Suicide Squad is fun, stylist, very enjoyable and the whole cast has a great chemistry between them but what the film lacks is a memorable journey, yeah it has some really memorable scenes and most of the jokes are pretty funny but as a whole the film failed to stuck with me.
