Miserable England. Very depressing film. The men are absolutely vile but very much moulded by being victims of a shitty shitty country under thatcher that doesn’t care about them. Jesus, England is just so shit. What a dump. Breeding eternally miserable angry people who are aimlessly insecure and dejected. Exceptional acting from everyone, literally exceptional. The second half was fantastic. Last scene with the mother was heartbreaking. The harpsichord music was too much though lmao, too much 1980s

When I say I was HOOKED to this. French Desperate housewives meets World War I. Each one of those women were such a big slay, all the ugly men were fucking cunts and all the sexy ones were absolute angels. I cannot get over how camp the French are for going into battle wearing a silly cotton hat and red trousers. All these people saying it was too many plot lines going on at once you’re all weak sorry.
