  I had to begin Hot Ring Spring with this one. I know the TV movie was first, and believe me I’ll watch it, but I simply adore Ringu ‘98 from head to toe and had been eagerly anticipating watching it again. It’s full of dread, texture, and analog terror goodness, and I’ll never get sick of it. One of the rare instances where I never want to know how they did the effect, because I curl up into a ball every time.

  Fucking beautiful. Not too on the nose, because you can’t be nowadays. As a vegan, some of the themes resonated even more. I am loving Robert Pattinson’s career as of late.
